Professional Objectives
Objective 1: To create a case management guide for interns and employees at CPC to use when creating termination summaries, treatment plans, reviews, and 2 week closing letters.
Activities/Resources:
Took notes when being advised by my case management co-workers on how to fill out the paperwork
Asked questions to clarify any confusion when filling out the paperwork in order to complete client paperwork with the correct strategy
Worked on the paperwork first hand in order to gain experience to submit a step-by-step manual
Evidence:
I created a powerpoint tutorial based on filling out case management tasks for clients.

Objective 2: Create a document on the coping skills learned in DBT group therapy.
Activities/Resources:
Observed DBT Skills group weekly
Learned the way the clients interact with one another
Observed the way the therapist teaches coping skills and support the client's needs
Read the interpersonal effectiveness handouts that are taught in session
Evidence:
I created a document on the skills that were taught during DBT group therapy in order to live a positive lifestyle.

Objective 3: Create an interactive activity for the adolescent girls to use during group session.

Activities/Resources:
Observed Adolescent Girls IOP group therapy
Spoke to the therapist on suggestions to make a helpful and fun interactive activities
Researched effective methods for building trust and healing for young girls

Evidence:
I brought in a mindfulness magazine collage activity for the girls to build a sense of trust during group while cutting out words and images that were meaningful and described them.

Internship Details Duties include:
Completed case manager duties such as termination summaries, treatment plans, 2 week letters, etc.
Attended DBT Skills Group which focuses on learning the appropriate skills to assist in a successful daily life
Attended Adolescent Girls IOP Group Session which focuses on creating a safe environment for the teenage girls to talk freely and cope with mental or substance abuse difficulties.
Created an interactive bingo game that focuses on positive communication for adolescent girls to participate in during group session
Interacted/observed patient's being treated in group therapy
Learned the impact therapy and med management has on people's lives
